Pedro will leave Chelsea and join AS Roma at the end of the month, according to a report.

The Guardian has reported that Pedro has agreed to join Italian club Roma on a free transfer this summer.

It has been reported that the former Barcelona winger has agreed on a two-year contract with the Italian club, with the option for another year.

Pedro is concerned about picking up an injury if he plays for Chelsea in the final games of the season, according to the report.

The 32-year-old has until June 23 to agree on a short-term extension to his current contract at the London club, and Chelsea are reportedly hoping that he does commit to them until the end of the season.

Stats

Pedro has been on the books of Chelsea since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Spanish and European giants Barcelona for 21.4 million pounds.

The Spain international has won the Premier League title, the FA Cup and the UEFA Europa League with the Blues so far in his career.

So far this season, the winger has made eight starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Blues, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.

Pedro has also played 96 minutes in the Champions League, twice in the EFL Cup and thrice in the FA Cup for Frank Lampard’s side this campaign.

Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 48 points from 29 matches.
