Fabio Aurelio has spoken highly of Liverpool defender Andy Robertson. The 40-year

The 40-year-old Brazilian, who played for Liverpool from 2006 until 2012 and could operate as a left-back or as a left-winger, believes that the Scotland international left-back is a complete player.

Aurelio has added that the 26-year-old former Dundee United and Hull City star is always improving.

Aurelio told Liverpool’s official website about Robertson: “He’s kind of the complete player because physically he’s well capable of going forward and going back he defends very well.

“He’s quick, so his one-v-one is good and defensively that’s very important in the scheme Klopp plays. He goes forward very easily.

“One thing that calls my attention is that he’s always improving, he’s not comfortable in his situation being first choice. You will see that in every game he plays as his last one, so that’s courage.”
