Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has spoken highly of his teammate Paul Pogba.

Fernandes, who joined United from Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window, has said that he is looking forward to playing with the France international midfielder.

Pogba, who has been on the books of the Red Devils since 2016 when he returned to the club after a successful spell at Italian giants Juventus, has not played a competitive game of football since Boxing Day due to ankle injury.

The 27-year-old has made just five starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for United so far this season, providing two assists in the process.

However, the France international is on the mend and is set to be available for United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when the Premier League resumes this month.

Fernandes has raved about Pogba and is looking forward to playing alongside the former Juventus star in the United midfield.

The Sun quotes Fernandes as saying about Pogba: β€œI think Paul is one of the best players in Manchester and in the world.

β€œHe was injured for a lot of time. The opportunity to play side to side with him is fantastic because you want to play with the best players you can.”
