The 27-year-old has made just five starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for United so far this season, providing two assists in the process.
However, the France international is on the mend and is set to be available for United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when the Premier League resumes this month.
Fernandes has raved about Pogba and is looking forward to playing alongside the former Juventus star in the United midfield.
The Sun quotes Fernandes as saying about Pogba: βI think Paul is one of the best players in Manchester and in the world.
