Hart is out of contract at Burnley at the end of next month and looks set to leave the Premier League club on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper joined the Clarets from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer of 2018 for 3.5 million pounds.
The former Shrewsbury Town custodian was expected to be the first choice between the posts for Sean Dyche’s side, but he has struggled to play regular first-team football.
During the 2018-19 campaign, Hart played 19 times in the Premier League for Burnley, and he has yet to make an appearance in the league this campaign.
Hart, who had a loan spell at Italian club Torino in 2016-17 from City, has said that he is open to playing abroad.
When asked by The Guardian if he would play in Serie A, La Liga or the Bundelsiga, Hart said: “I’m totally open. I just want to play at the highest level I can. In England, I don’t feel I am going to be able to do that.
“Maybe if I hadn’t achieved what I’ve done in this league I might not be so ready to step away. Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to have another big chance in England, but it could be difficult.”
Burnley are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 39 points from 29 matches.
