The Times has reported that United have enquired about the Mexico international striker, and so have Italian giants Juventus.

Wolves are willing to sell the 29-year-old, but only if they make a substantial profit on the 38 million euros (33.85 million pounds) they paid as transfer fee for the former Atletico Madrid striker, according to the report.

Stats

Jimenez moved to Wolves on a season-long loan deal from Portuguese giants Benfica in the summer of 2018.

The striker made 36 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Wanderers during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists in the process.

Wolves made the loan permanent, and the Mexican has actually done better in his second season at the Molineux Stadium.

Before football in England got suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, Jimenez had made 28 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Wolves, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists in the process.

The striker has also scored three goals and provided three assists in seven Europa League matches for Nuno’s side this campaign.
