The Mirror quotes Havertz as saying: “I’m ready to take a big step, and I like challenges. For me, this also includes abroad.
“Leverkusen are a great club, I feel good. I have always said that. But of course I want to take the next step in my career at some point. That’s my ambition.”

Havertz has been on the books of Bayer his entire professional club football career so far and is considered as one of the best young players in Europe.
The Germany international has scored six goals and provided five assists in 22 Bundesliga appearances for Bayer so far this season.
The attacker has also scored three goals and provided two assists in three Europa League games for the Bundesliga outfit this campaign.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the youngster scored 17 goals and provided three assists in the Bundesliga and scored three goals and provided three assists in the Europa League.
Bayer are fifth in the Bundesliga table at the moment with 47 points from 25 matches, two points behind fourth-placed Borussia Monchengladbach.
