The 27-year-old France international midfielder has said that he used to love watching his compatriot and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Pogba has added what promoted him to change his allegiance from Arsenal to United.
The midfielder told United’s official website: “I will be honest. So, at the start, I was an Arsenal fan obviously because of all the French players, you know.
“Me and my brother were but my other brother was a Manchester United fan. I couldn’t say anything so I used to love [Thierry] Henry and, because of him, I was an Arsenal fan.
“Then I changed and went on to choose with my other brother. No Arsenal, I went with the other one, the United fan!”
Second Manchester United Spell
Pogba is in his second spell at United at the moment, having returned to the Red Devils from Italian and European giants Juventus in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee of 93.2 million pounds.
The Frenchman has not had the best of times at United so far, although there have been injury issues and there have been managerial changes as well.
Pogba, who won Serie A four times with Juventus and the 2018 World Cup with France in 2018, clinched the EFL Cup in 2017 and the UEFA Europa League in 2017 as well with the Red Devils.
The midfielder - who had had injury problems this campaign - has made seven starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for United this season, providing two assists in the process.
Football in England is suspended at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic.
