The 27-year-old England international has added that Steven Gerrard was his favourite Reds player.
Former England international midfielder Gerrard - who is now in charge of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership - was on the books of Liverpool from 1989 until 2015 when he moved to Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.
Mings said on talkSPORT (9am, April 14, 2020): “I was a Liverpool fan and Steven Gerrard was my favourite player because of how he demanded the best from everyone who was on the pitch with him. I was a massive Liverpool fan growing up.”
