Chelsea central defender Antonio Rudiger has raved about Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.

The 27-year-old Germany international central defender has included Aguero in the Toughest XI he has faced so far in his career.

Rudiger told Sky Sports about Aguero: “For me, he is a top striker. He’s small, compact and a goalscorer who scores for fun.

“He’s the type of striker that if you give him an inch that’s enough, it’s tough to mark him. For a big defender, his centre of gravity is very low and it’s difficult because of his good movement.”

Important Figure at Manchester City

Aguero has been on the books of City since 2011 when he joined from Atletico Madrid.

The Argentina international has been superb for the Citizens over the years and is a world-class striker.

The 31-year-old has won the Premier League title four times, the FA Cup once and the EFL Cup five times with City.Aguero has also been a key figure in the Citizens establishing themselves as regulars in the Champions League.

So far this season, the striker has scored 16 goals and provided three assists in the Premier League, while during the 2018-19 campaign, he scored 21 goals and provided eight assists in the league.

City, who have won the league title in England for the past two seasons, are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 28 matches, as many as 25 points behind leaders Liverpool, who have played 29 games.
