Kia Joorabchian has said that his agent and Barcelona attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho would love to return to the Premier League.

The agent of the former Liverpool star - who can also operate as a winger - has said that the 27-year-old enjoyed his time in England.

The Brazil international joined the Reds from Inter Milan in January 2013 and soon established himself as an important player for the Merseyside outfit.

Coutinho earned a strong reputation in the Premier League and moved to Spanish and European giants Barcelona in January 2018 for a transfer fee of 142 million pounds.

Much was expected of the Brazilian attacker when he switched to Camp Nou, but things have not gone according to plan.

The 27-year-old joined German powerhouse Bayern Munich on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2019.

The attacking midfielder has made 15 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayern so far this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in the process.

Coutinho has also made five starts and two substitute appearances in the Champions League for the German club, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.

The player’s agent, Joorabchian, has said that Coutinho would love to return to the Premier League.

Joorabchian told Sky Sports: “After the Champions League game he played in England we had a long chat about it.

“The Premier League is something that he has always enjoyed playing in, and loved playing in, and would probably love to come back and play in.

“The question is what are going to be the financial conditions of all the clubs, including Barcelona and all the Premier League clubs at the end of this pandemic.”

Football in England and in Germany is suspended at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic.
