Austin made the post while watching the Manchester derby between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford at the weekend.
United got the better of City 2-0 at home in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Anthony Martial put the Red Devils in the lead at Old Trafford on the half-hour mark, and Scott McTominay wrapped up the scoring in the sixth minute of injury time.
Austin was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of 25-year-old Portugal international midfielder Fernandes for United.

Fernandes joined United from Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window for 47 million pounds.
The midfielder has made five appearances in the Premier League for the Red Devils so far this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process.
Against City at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, the 25-year-old took three shots of which none was on target, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 79.2%, took 40 touches, made three interceptions and one clearance, and put in two crosses.
Meanwhile, Austin has made 13 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Championship for West Brom so far this season, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in the process.
