The former Liverpool midfielder was impressed with the performance of Wijnaldum for the Reds in their Premier League game against West Ham at Anfield on Monday evening.
The 42-year-old believes that the 29-year-old midfielder would walk into any top side in Europe, and thinks that the Netherlands international has been a very good signing for the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp’s side got the better of West Ham 3-2 at home to extend their league at the top of the Premier League table to 22 points.

Against West Ham at Anfield on Monday evening, Wijnaldum took one shot which ended in a goal, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 98%, took 65 touches, attempted two dribbles, made one tackle and two clearances, and put in one cross.
So far this season, the former Feyenoord and PSV star has scored three goals in 26 Premier League games and has scored one goal in seven Champions League appearances for Liverpool.
Wijnaldum has been on the books of the Merseyside outfit since the summer of 2016 when he moved from Newcastle United for a transfer fee of 25 million pounds.
