Steven Gerrard’s side got the better of Scottish Premiership rivals Hamilton 4-1 away from home at the Fountain of Youth Stadium in the fifth round of the prestigious cup competition on Saturday afternoon.
Easy win
Scott Arfield put Rangers in the lead in the 25th minute from a penalty rebound, but Lewis Smith restored parity for the home team on 38 minutes.
Aribo made it 2-1 to the Gers midway through the second half, and Alfredo Morelos added a third for the visitors on 85 minutes.
Then in the second minute of injury time, Arfield wrapped up the scoring with a long-range strike.
Aribo has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for Rangers, and the 23-year-old Nigeria international is also pleased with the travelling fans.
