Tottenham Hotspur Exit
As announced on Tottenham’s official Twitter page on Tuesday, Eriksen has left the North London outfit to join Inter Milan.
The Denmark international has signed a contract with the Italian giants until 2024 and has cost the Nerazzurri 16.9 million pounds in transfer fees.
Important Player
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder had been on the books of Spurs since 2013 when he joined from Dutch club Ajax.
Eriksen had established himself as an important player for Tottenham, and was instrumental in the team finishing in the top four of the Premier League for the past four years and in the side reaching the final of the Champions League last season.
Farewell
Alderweireld joined Tottenham from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015, and he has sent a farewell message to Eriksen on Twitter following the midfielder’s move to Inter.
We have shared so many special memories together at Spurs that I will always cherish. Good luck for the next chapter my friend@ChrisEriksen8 pic.twitter.com/HTF42NFgeS
