The former Manchester City and Newcastle United midfielder, who is now in charge of Fleetwood Town, made the comments during Chelsea’s Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday evening.
Abraham did not score in the 2-0 win for Frank Lampard’s side in the London derby, but the England international striker played well for the visiting team.
