Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Sessegnon has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening

Spurs suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Bundesliga giants Bayern away from home at the Allianz Arena in Germany in Champions League Group B.

Sessegnon, who can operate as a left-back or as a left-winger, started the match and scored in the 20th minute.

It was the former Fulham star’s debut in the Champions League, and the 19-year-old has taken to Twitter to revel in his achievement.

The England Under-21 international has also expressed his disappointment at his side’s failure to win against Bayern.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Allianz Arena in Munich on Wednesday evening, hosts Bayern had 70% of the possession, took 24 shots of which 11 were on target, and earned nine corners.

Visitors Tottenham had 30% of the possession, took seven shots of which five were on target, and earned one corner.

Spurs have booked their place in the knockout rounds of the Champions League after finishing runners-up in Group B with 10 points from six matches, as many as eight points behind winners Bayern.
