Real Madrid beat Club Bruges 3 -1 in Belgium on the last night of Champions League 2019-20 league stage football.

After a scoreless first half, Real took the lead through Rodrygo who scored with a left foot shot in the centre of the box. However, their lead lasted only two minutes before Hans Vanaken pulled the home side level. Real retook the lead, Rodrygo this time turning provider for Vincius Jnior to add the second, and the result was put beyond doubt in injury time when Luka Modri added the third.

Bayern Munich beat Tottenham Hotspur 31 to top their group, a head of the North London side. After almost constant pressure Bayern took the lead in the 16th minute when Serge Gnabry found Kingsley Coeman in space, and he calmly found the net. In the second-half Bayern continued to dominate, and added a third when Philippe Coutinho who had already struck the underside of the bar, was allowed too much space and he curled the ball from the edge of the area.

Juventus beat Bayer Leverkusen 20 in Germany, thanks to two goals in the second half. The Italian side took the lead 15 minutes from time thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored from close range after a cross from Paolo Dybala. And they made the points safe in injury time, when Dybala provided another assist for fellow Argentine Gonzalo Higuain to find the net with a left-foot shot.

Atltico Madrid beat Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0. Atltico, needing a win to make certain of their qualification for the knock-out phases, moved ahead when handball was awarded against a Lokomotiv defender.

It was checked by VAR which confirmed the decision and Joo Felix converted from the spot. Then, in the second half, Felipe added the second to calm any nerves amongst the home team, firing in after he was found by Koke with a cross.
