The Tottenham Hotspur legend was impressed with the performance of Leno during Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Thursday evening.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper made a number of good saves to keep the Gunners in the Premier League game until the very end, leaving Lineker impressed.

Disappointing Result
Arsenal are going through a bad run of form at the moment, and the defeat to Brighton has further dented their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
The Gunners are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 19 points from 15 matches.
Arsenal are as many as 10 points behind London rivals Chelsea, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.
Back In Action
The North London outfit will return to action next Monday evening when they take on West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
West Ham themselves are struggling at the moment and currently find themselves 15th in the standings with 16 points from 15 matches, just two points above the relegation zone.
