Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham has revealed how he plans to get to the top of the game: By watching strikers and stealing their ideas.

Abraham was talking ahead of the Blues vital Champions League fixture against Valencia when he told reporters about what he likes to do in his spare time.“I take time to go on YouTube to watch the best strikers in the world and for me its about stealing their ideas and adding it to my game,” Abraham said.

The home leg of this fixture was the first time the young England international had played in Europe and he did it alongside fellow Academy graduates Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori - something he admits was a surreal experience.

“Before the Valencia game me, Mason and Fikayo were all warming up together and it didn’t feel real,” added Tammy Abraham.

Chelsea’s group H is finely poised as three teams are on seven points and could go through. Ajax take on Lille, who are bottom with only one draw and three losses, while the result of the Blues clash against Valencia will go a long way to securing the winning side’s progression.

Must win game

Abraham admitted that its the biggest game of his career, but anyone following the youngsters progression wouldn’t put it past him to make an impact. He’s quickly become a talisman for Frank Lampard’s youthful side but has scored just once in four group games.

With 10 goals in 13 Premier League appearances, the striker has come back from his loan spell with Aston Villa and blown away top flight defences. He’s racked up the goals with an excellent range of finishing - something all elite forwards would be proud of.

“I watch Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, Roberto Firmino and all sorts,” concluded the Chelsea man. If he carries on in this vein, it wont be long before those goal scorers are casting glances towards the 22-year-old for tips.
