Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Foxes maintained their good run of form in the Premier League this season with a 2-0 victory over Brighton away from home at the American Express Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
After a goalless first half, Ayoze Perez - signed from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window for £30 million - put the Foxes in the lead in the 64th minute after he was set up by fellow striker Vardy.
Vardy himself scored the second goal for Brendan Rodgers’s side from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute.
The 32-year-old English striker has revelled in the win for Leicester on Twitter and has thanked the fans for their support.
Great to get another 3 points on the road @LCFC and thanks for your support as always!
