Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has taken to Twitter to express his delight at his side’s win against Southampton.
City got the better of Southampton 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
James Ward-Prowse put the Saints in the lead after 13 minutes, but Sergio Aguero restored parity for the home team in the 70th minute.
Then with just four minutes of normal time remaining, Kyle Walker found the net to ascertain all three points for Pep Guardiola.
England international Sterling, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has taken to Twitter to revel in the win.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, hosts City had 76% of the possession, took 26 shots of which four were on target, and earned 17 corners.
Visitors Southampton had 24% of the possession, took three shots of which three were on target, and failed to earn a single corner.
The win against the Saints means that City, who have won the league title for the past two seasons, are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 25 points from 11 matches, as many as six points behind leaders Liverpool.
