Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s win against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
Liverpool maintained their charge towards the Premier League title with a 2-1 comeback win against Tottenham at home on Sunday evening.
Comeback Win
England international striker Harry Kane put Spurs in the lead in the very first minute, but Jordan Henderson restored parity for the Merseyside outfit seven minutes into the second half.
Then with 15 minutes of normal time remaining, Liverpool earned a penalty when Serge Aurier caught the back of Sadio Mane’s leg, and Mohamed Salah made no mistake from the spot.
The scoreline could have been more in favour of Jurgen Klopp’s side had Tottenham goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga not made a string of impressive saves.
Impressive Trio
Liverpool legend Carragher was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.
The former Liverpool and England international was impressed with the displays produced by Fabinho, Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Big win that after being one down, but never thought @LFC would not win that game at any stage today. Fabinho, Mane & TAA top class! #LIVTOT
