Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s draw with Liverpool at the weekend.

De Gea was in action for United in their Premier League game against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday evening.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper starts the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Marcus Rashford put the Red Devils in the lead after 36 minutes, and Adam Lallana restored parity for the Merseyside outfit in the 85th minute.

De Gea has stated on Twitter that he is not happy with the draw, but the Spain international has praised the Old Trafford faithful and is proud of the spirit that the team showed.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, hosts United had 32% of the possession, took seven shots of which two were on target, and earned three corners.

Visitors Liverpool had 68% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned one corner.

The draw with Jurgen Klopp’s side means that United are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from nine matches, as many as 17 points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
