Willock has made three appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, the England Under-20 international played 64 minutes in the league.
The youngster also made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League last season, scoring one goal in the process.
Future star
It will take time for Willock to establish himself in the first team, and it may not be two more years before the midfielder starts to play regularly.
The youngster will get chances for Unai Emery’s side this season, and he will also feature for the Under-23 team.
Top-four challenge
Arsenal failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League last season, but they reached the final of the Europa League.
The Gunners will be aiming to clinch a Champions League spot this campaign, and the North London outfit have made a good start to the season.
Emery’s side are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with seven points from four matches, five points behind leaders Liverpool.
The Gunners will return to action on Sunday when they take on Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.
