Iwobi joined Everton from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window for a transfer fee of ÂŁ34 million.
The 23-year-old, who can also operate as a forward, has made one start and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Toffees so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the Nigeria international winger made 22 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the league for Arsenal, scoring three goals and providing six assists in the process.
Everton manager Silva has said that he wants Iwobi to score more goals for the Merseyside outfit.
Silva told Everton’s official website: “The first time I met with him, it was something I put in his mind [his ability to score goals]. If you look at our wingers and the players in forward positions, it is something I demand from them.
“Richarlison scored many, many goals last season, Theo scored some. I want more from the other two [Iwobi and Bernard].”
Good signing for Everton
During his time at Arsenal, Iwobi showed what he is capable of, but the winger did not get to feature regularly for the Gunners.
There was too much competition for the attacking spots at the Gunners, but the youngster certainly has the talent to be a success at the Everton.
The 23-year-old has hit the ground running at Goodison Park, and if he adds more goals to his games and creates chances, then he will be a huge success at the Toffees.
Top-six challenge
Everton are challenging to break into the top six of the Premier League table this season.
The Toffees are sixth in the league table at the moment with seven points from four matches.
The Merseyside outfit will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League.
