Barcelona welcome Real Sociedad to the ‘Camp Nou’ in Barcelona in game week 13 of season 2015-16 in the Spanish La Liga. The game kicks off at 16:00 CEST on Saturday, November 28, 2015 and will mostly be a one-sided affair.
Barcelona leapfrogged arch-rivals Real Madrid to the top of the Spanish La Liga last week after an emphatic win in the El Classico away from home. They are now clear at the top with 30 points from their twelve matches while the visitors Real Sociedad are in the 14th place in the league standings with only twelve points to their name in twelve matches.
The defending champions have hit top gear and are on fire at the moment with two emphatic wins in the week. The 4-0 win over Madrid away from home was followed by a 6-1 thumping of AS Roma in the Champions League fixture midweek.
They are on a five game winning streak with wins over Madrid, Villarreal, Getafe, Eibar and Rayo Vallecano and Sociedad will need a miracle to stop them at the moment.
The visitors meanwhile have had a change of managers at the helm with David Moyes getting the sack. The new manager has started promisingly with a 2-0 win over Sevilla last weekend while their previous results have been three defeats and a win in the four matches before Moyes got the sack.
The defeats have come at the hands of Las Palmas, Celta Vigo and Atletico Madrid while the lone win in the period was against Levante.
Lionel Messi was back in action and even scored two goals midweek but the man on fire at the moment is Luis Suarez who seems unstoppable. Coach Luis Enrique is also particularly happy with the likes of Neymar, Sergi Roberto and Rakitic who have chipped in with very good performances.
Sociedad on the other hand will look to keep the scoreline down and will hope for a good all-round game from the likes of Agirretxe, Bruma, Rubén Pardo and llarramendi.
Barcelona are the favourites and it would be hard for anyone to stop them in this mood.
