Bayern Munich host Vfb Stuttgart at the Allianz-Arena in Munich in game week 12 of season 2015-16 in the German Bundesliga. The game kicks off at 15:30 CEST kick-off time on Saturday, November 07, 2015 and will be a one-sided affair for the neutrals.
Bayern Munich are at the top of the Bundesliga table with 31 points from ten matches but their lead has been cut down to five points with Borussia Dortmund making the charge. Their opponents for the game Vfb Stuttgart are placed in the 15th position in the league standings with just 10 points from their eleven games.
Bayern Munich have bounced back from the goalless draw at Eintracht Frankfurt last week with a thumping 5-1 win over Arsenal in the Champions League midweek fixture. They have been victorious in each of their ten matches in the league before this past week and their recent results have been wins over Köln, Bremen, Dortmund and Mainz 05.
Stuttgart meanwhile have had a poor start to their campaign again. Their last five results have been slightly better as they have picked up seven points in the time. This included two wins over Darmstadt 98 and Ingolstadt, a draw against Hoffenheim away from home and two defeats at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller were on target again this midweek as their goal scoring run continues. Coach Pep Guardiola will hope that the likes of Douglas Costa and Thiago Alcântara will continue on their excellent performances and that the game is a mere formality for three points. The visitors on the other hand will be banking on big performances from the likes of Werner, Harnik, Didavi and Alexandru Maxim if they are to take away anything from the match.
Bayern Munich are the odds on favourites as it has been in so many cases this season. Stuttgart will do well to keep the margin to under two goals in this tough away fixture.
