Champions Barcelona host Las Palmas to the Camp Nou in Barcelona in game week six of the new season in the Spanish La Liga.

Champions Barcelona host Las Palmas to the Camp Nou in Barcelona in game week six of the new season in the Spanish La Liga. The game kicks off early at 16:00 CEST on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

Barcelona suffered their first defeat of the season and have slipped to fifth position in the league standings with 12 points from their five matches played while the visitors occupy the 12th position in the La Liga standings with five points from their five matches.

Just as we thought Barcelona are going to be hard to be beaten, Celta Vigo shows the world how to do it and that too in style. Their 4-1 win against the mighty Catalans this past week was a top performance by a team growing in confidence while the Catalans were left to rue their chances.

Apart from the 4-1 win against Levante, Barcelona have looked far from convincing in their wins over Atlético Madrid, Malaga and Bilbao, but they will now look to set the record straight with a big win to bounce back in the league standings.

Las Palmas meanwhile have had a mixed start to their new campaign in the top flight. The big result came this past week against Sevilla at home which they won 2-0. Prior to that were two draws against Celta Vigo and Levante and two defeats at the hands of Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid.

The Barcelona front trio of Suarez, Neymar and Messi will want to put behind the disappointment of the last game and put in a good performance with some goals as well. Coach Luis Enrique will also want his defense to bounce back after their poor game last time around.

Las Palmas will hope for good solid performances from the likes of Araújo, Roque Mesa, Jonathan Viera and Hernán and hope that they can hold the Catalans for a point.

Barcelona are surely favourites to win the match especially after the battering they took in the last game. Las Palmas have their task cut out but maybe the occasion of playing the Spanish giants will lift their game to levels required to take something away from the fixture.
