Celta Vigo welcome Champions Barcelona to the Estadio de Balaídos in Vigo in game week five of the new season in the Spanish La Liga. The game kicks off at 20:00 CEST on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

Barcelona have started the new season in perfect fashion so far as they sit at the top of the Spanish Primera Division with 12 points from four matches while the hosts Celta Vigo have also started well occupying the fourth position in the league table with ten points from their four games.

Celta Vigo have taken many by surprise with their strong start to the season winning three of their four games with the other one being a draw. The wins have been the 2-1 win away from home to Levante on the opening day, the 3-0 win against Rayo Vallecano at home and more recently the impressive 2-1 win against Sevilla away from home. The drawn game was the 3-3 result at home to Las Palmas.

But they come up against the defending champions who are on a four game winning streak. Barcelona are picking up results despite not being at their best as the scorelines would suggest. They have had two 1-0 games against Athletic Bilbao and Malaga, a 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid and a 4-1 win this past week against Levante at home.

Coach Luis Enrique knows that his side are slowly but surely picking up form. Striker Luis Suarez should be back for this game after being rested at the weekend. Lionel Messi scored two goals but missed a penalty against Levante and he will look to set the record straight come midweek.

Youngsters Munir and Sandro were impressive and will look to convince the manager if given another chance to start. Celta Vigo on the other hand will look to the likes of Nolito, Iago Aspas, Orellana and Danel Wass to come up with the goods if they are to put up a good fight in the match.

Barcelona are the favourites to win the match but Celta Vigo’s have shown good signs that they can come out and play some attacking football. It will however, be a tough task to hold the Catalans even to a draw.
