Champions Barcelona host Granada at the Camp Nou in game week four of the new season in the Spanish La Liga. The game kicks off at 20:30 hours CEST on Sunday, September 20, 2015.
Barcelona are on top of the Spanish Primera Division with Real Madrid hot on their heels. They have nine points from their three matches while their opponents for the game Levante occupy the 14th position in the league table with two points from their three games.
The Catalans have had the perfect start to their campaign with three wins out of three. The big win came this past week against their direct rivals Atletico Madrid 2-1 away from home.
This was preceded by the 1-0 win against Malaga at home and the 1-0 win away from home against Athletic Bilbao. The defensive performances have been very good while the final third gameplay is yet reach last season’s highs.
Levante on the other hand have had an ordinary start with two draws and a defeat.
The defeat was the opening day fixture against Celta Vigo which ended 2-1, while the two draws have been the game against Las Palmas which ended 0-0 away from home and more recently the 1-1 game against Sevilla at home.
They are yet to find their feet and could struggle in this fixture especially since it is an away game.
Coach Luis Enrique should start Neymar, Messi and Suarez up front and will hope that the goals will flow through their intricate passing style.
He will also hope for a good performance from the likes of Iniesta and Rakitić dictating play from the midfiled.
Levante will hope and pray that the Catalans giants will have an off day and that their own players such as Deyverson, VĂctor Camarasa and JosĂ© Mari put in a workaholic performance and grind something out from the game.
Barcelona are the firm favourites and could win it with a couple of goals to spare. Levante will try hard to keep it tight at the back and will hope to hold on for a draw which would be an excellent result for them.
