He won the Argentine championship in 2005, with Luis Perez Companc, and has partnered him in the WRC for the last three seasons - the last two in a Ford Focus RS WRC.
In 2007, he and Luis joined the new Munchi’s Ford World Rally Team. The pair contested nine of their 10 rounds together, while Jose Dias stepped in to replace Volta in Greece. In 2008 Volta and Perez Companc will drive together in Argentina, Jordan and Finland.
