Mario Alberto Santana is an Argentine international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Napoli. He plays as an attacking midfielder.
Santana started his professional club football career at Argentine side San Lorenzo in 1999 and scored twice in 33 league matches in two season. After a short stint with Venezia in Italy, he was signed by Palermo in 2002 and played for them with distinction until 2006. He also played the 2003-2004 season on loan at Chievo Verona, also in Italy.
Santana was then signed by Fiorentina in 2006 and after 100 league appearances joined Napoli in 2011.
