Loic Duval
Like many others in his field, Loic Duval began racing at a very young age and by the time he was 16, Duval was already a strong force in Karting. He finished in third place in the European championship and also won the French Cup. For a few years following this win Duval ascended the numerous Karting formulae and bagged many wins on the way.
In 2002 Duval finally moved out of karting, into single-seaters and went on to win the French Formula Campus championship, complete with nine poles and nice race wins. The next year Duval remained a dominating force in the French Renault Series, accumulating four poles and four race wins and in 2004, he once again stepped up into F3 Euro Series.
In 2005, Duval finished in sixth place in the championship, which was a result of six podiums and one pole, which was claimed in the famous Macau Grand Prix. This was followed by Duval winning the first race and clinching the sixth place in the second.
In the year 2006, Duval moved to Japan, where he participated in the Super GT 500 championship, as part of the Nakajima team. He further competed in the Formula Nippon championship, where he won the Suzuka round. 2007 saw Duval join the A1 Team France and he made his debut in A1 GP in the 2007-08 season.
