Mark Martin
An extremely determined driver, in the NASCAR Cup Series, Mark Martin has 35 wins, 41 pole positions and 390 top-10 finishes to his credit. Racing on dirt tracks is how Martin began his racing career, but soon shifted to NASCAR Cup Series and won three consecutive races from 1993 till 1995, at Watkins Glen Road course, and became the first NASCAR driver to do so.
Martin is also the sixth driver in the modern era of NASCAR Cup Series, to win four consecutive Cup races, at Watkins Glen, the Michigan Speedway, at the Bristol Motor Speedway and finally at the Darlington Raceway.
Martin was selected into the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association All-America Team, in 1990. Even in 2008, Martin had the most number of career wins in the Nationwide Series, numbering to 48. Another achievement was in the NASCAR Cup Series ranks, Martin had finished in the top-10 in terms of points, for 12 consecutive years, from 1989 till 2000.
