Ferrari driver Charles LeClerc asks fans to stop gathering outside his Monaco apartment, also asking them to respect his privacy.

He did say that he would still greet fans in public places or on the track but he says that gathering outside his house is not something that he would like to deal with. He called it, “a boundary that should not be crossed”.

He posted about his concerns on his Instagram Story, saying:

“For the past few months, my home address has somehow become public, leading to people gathering beneath my apartment, ringing my bell, and asking for pictures and autographs.”

“While I’m always happy to be there for you and I truly appreciate your support, please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house.

“I’ll make sure to stop for everyone when you see me on the streets or at the track, but I won’t be coming downstairs if you visit my home.

“Your support, both in person and on social media, means the world to me, but there is a boundary that should not be crossed.”

LeClerc’s watch had also been stolen while he signed autographs in Italy. Italian police have reported that they have arrested four people in connection with the crime.

It hasn’t been the best season for the Formula 1 driver. He crashed out on two of the two of the three races he’s been in. He now also sits on 10th in the driver standings.
