Shevchenko has her first professional fight in April 2004. It was for the Kyrgyz Federation of Kulatuu and was against Eliza Aidaralieva. She did not join the Ultimate Fighting Championship until December 2015. Her first fight was against Sara Kaufman. She won and in March of the following year, she went up against Amanda Nunes and lost.
Since July 2016, she has been in twelve fights. Winning 11 and losing one. Some notable opponents she has won against include Liz Carmouche, Jessica Andrade, Lauren Murphy, and Jessica Eye. Her latest bout was held in June 2022. It was against Taila Santos.
