Jason Brilz is mixed martial artist from America. He is not only an outstanding athlete but he was also an outstanding student. He fought in the light heavyweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has also fought for the Titan Fighting Championships promotion.

In his early age, Brilz was an award winning athlete in the sport of wrestling. He won the acclaimed Nebraska Class A state championships in wrestling in the year 1993. He attended the Omaha Central High School, noted for being the 10th best athletic program in the nation according to Sports Illustrated in the year 2008. Brilz also excelled academically, being awarded the Academic All-American not only in high school, but three times while going to the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He is also a four-year letter winner. He compiled a record of 63-34 during his amateur career.

It wasn’t until the year 2000 that Brilz made his MMA debut. He achieved an 11 win streak and eventually got himself signed with the UFC. His debut was the UFC Fight Night 15 where fought Brad Morris and won via TKO in the second round. He secured another win against Tim Boetsch but would later on receive his first professional loss against opponent Eliot Marshall. Brilz then made a victorious comeback after defeating Eric Schafer for UFC Live Versa vs Jones. His last fight in the UFC was against Ryan Bader in November of 2011 during the UFC 139. Unfortunately for Brilz, it was a short fight with Brilz being knocked out in the opening round. He was then released from the UFC. Brilz continues to fight professionally but under the Titan Fighting Championships.

Brilz is 5’11” tall and weighs at 205 lbs. He fights in the light heavyweight division. His professional record stands at 22 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw. His last fight was in September 2014.
