Tim Boetsch
Tim Boetsch is an American mixed martial artist whose professional career started in August of 2006. Born on January 28, 1981 in Lincolnville, Maine, United States, he always looked up to his older brother’s wrestling skills. Boetsch soon followed suit and made a name for himself in the wrestling arena during high school. Tim Boetsch is now known as The Barbarian in the ring.
Boetsch’s entry into the world of mixed martial arts met its highs and lows. From performing excellently during high school and garnering the title of four-time state wrestling championship, Boetsch was not able to uphold his statistics when he played college wrestling. It was his roommate and best friend who offered him his first chance to fight in an arena where he won against his two opponents in less than two minutes.
After his impressive performance, Boetsch trained professionally and debuted at the International Fight League but lost to his first professional fight. This would not spell the last day for The Barbarian as he continues to fight to this day. His opponents look out for his body slam, which is his favorite grappling technique. He also likes to hit his opponents with any punch combo that ends with an uppercut.
Tim Boetsch, formerly light heavyweight, now turned middleweight is known to come back victorious after somewhat being defeated. He stands 6 ft tall, weighs 185 lbs., with a reach of 74 inches. His total mixed martial arts record stands at 29 with 19 wins and 10 losses.
