Brian Ebersole
A veteran in the cage, Brian “Bad Boy” Ebersole is an American mixed martial artist with a specialty in Muay Thai. The Bad Boy has held much of his recent fights all the way down south to Australia despite being born in Indiana. He currently belongs to the welterweight division and has since fought professionally starting in the year 2000.
Much of Ebersole’s interest in martial arts began in his early introduction to the world of wrestling. Growing up in Bradley, Illinois with his grandfather, the founder of the Bradley-Bourbonnais Youth Wrestling Club, the influence was indeed very strong. As early as kindergarten, Ebersole already started wrestling and began to stand out as a formidable wrestler in middle school and high school. A scholarship to the Eastern Illinois University gave him the opportunity to be trained by Matt Hughes, which also served as the time he was introduced to the world of mixed martial arts.
Known for his skills in Muay Thai, Ebersole can deliver a deadly cartwheel kick. His opponents often have to look out for his favorite grappling technique, the double leg. He trains at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket where he is also the head coach, while also training in Melbourne. But, Ebersole is also known in the cage for something other than his fighting skills. His manscaping habits have captured the attention of fans all over the world, grooming his chest hair into different designs including the Tapout logo.
At 35 years old, weighing 170 lbs. at the height of 6’0”, he is a force to be reckoned with. His record shows an astounding 17 wins by submission and 17 by knockout.
