Jessica Eye

Jessica Eye is a female professional mixed martial artist and is currently at the number 8 spot in UFC rankings. For worldwide rankings, she is ranked number 12 in the female flyweight division and number 40 pound-for-pound. Currently fighting in the Flyweight division, Eye is known for her agility and consistency in defense in the octagon as well as her strong grappling techniques.

Born on July 27, 1986, this phenomenal female fighter was raised in charming Rootstown. She suffered a broken back and some other major injuries when she was 16, after a drunk driver plowed into her and her father. This was the incident which led her to master mixed martial arts.

In 2008, she began competing as an amateur fighter holding an impressive record before turning professional in 2010. She made her professional debut in a match against Amanda LaVoy in June 2010. Eye had a record of 11 wins and 1 loss before she signed with UFC. Her current UFC record is 3 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no contest.

Nicknamed “Evil”, she stands 5 feet and 6 inches and comes with a 66-inch reach. She trains with Strong Style Fight Team and uses boxing as her main fighting style. Her latest fight was with Jessica-Rose Clark during the UFC Fight Night on June 23, 2018 and she lost the fight via unanimous decision.

Aside from mixed martial arts, Jessica was also featured in several sports magazines like the Cosmopolitan as well as in a music video.
