Career
Ferguson has his first professional fight in April 2008. This was for CXF – Anarchy at the Arena and was against Steve Avalos. He had two more fights in 2008, winning both. In 2009, he won his fight with Frank Park in January 2009. His first professional loss came in February 2009 against Karen Darabedyan.
From March 2009 to June 2011, he was in 11 fights for promoters such as The Ultimate Fighter, Pure Combat, National Fight Alliance, and the California Fight Syndicate.
His first UFC fight was in September 2011. This was against Aaron Riley, Ferguson won after Riley sustained a jaw injury. His next UFC bout was in February 2012. It was a loss to Michael Johnson. Since that loss, he was in 12 more fights before he lost to Justin Gaethje. That loss was followed by four more losses. His latest loss was in September 2022, it was against Nate Diaz.
