Carlos Condit also known as “The Natural Born Killer” is an American MMA artist from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is currently competing at the welterweight division of the UFC. He is a former interim UFC Welterweight Champion and a WEC Welterweight Champion before signing up at the UFC.

Condit currently ranks at the 4th spot of the UFC welterweight rankings and holds a record of 28 wins all via KO or submission during his first 30 fights.

Carlos Condit was born on April 26, 1984 and currently trains at the Jackson Submission Fighting Association in New Mexico. He also competed at the Shootboxing and Pancrase in Japan prior to signing under the UFC.

Condit started fighting professionally at the young age of 18. He even managed to make Nick Roscorta submit in less than a minute via a rear-naked choke during his debut fight in Juarez, Mexico in 2002 during his time at Shootboxing. He won in 4 more fights before tasting defeat during his international debut against Shoot Boxing World Tournament 2002 Champion Andy Souwer via a TKO.

He continued to show his fighting prowess at the MMA after an impressive 8 consecutive win before he was defeated by Carlo Prater with a triangle choke during the opening round in Albuquerque back in 2004.

Some of his impressive wins in the UFC was against Rory MacDonald at the UFC 115, Nick Diaz at the UFC 143 and his recent win against Thiago Alves wherein the official doctor had to stop the fight earning him a TKO win at the UFC Fight Night 67 in May 2015.

Condit is scheduled to fight against Robbie Lawler at the UFC 195 on January 2016 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Nevada. He has a current fight record of 38 fights with 30 wins and 8 losses.
