Since then people have claimed this is the end of her career and that she was never really good. I am here to say not so fast. Sure, women’s MMA is still fresh and the talent pool in the division is catching up to Rousey now but she has the resources to come back strong.
Ronda got by with her grappling and submission skills but now the book is out on her. Fighters adapted to her and it’s finally time she innovate and adapt to them. If Ronda can regain her confidence and find a coach who can rework her stand up attack there is no reason she can’t write the third act of MMA career her way.
The questions is does she want to. Only she can answer that question. It has been a tough fall from the mountain top and it will not be an easy climb back up. If I had to put my money on anyone who can do it though, it’s Rowdy Ronda Rousey.
