Ben Ondrus
Ben Ondrus is a Canadian winger in the Edmonton Oilers’ organization.
Ondrus was undrafted after playing five years with the Swift Current Broncos in the WHL, despite having some solid seasons, including a 71 points, 153 penalty minute campaign in 2001-02. He was signed to an AHL contract with Toronto in 2003, and spent most of the next seven seasons in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies and St. John’s Maple Leafs. He was captain of the Marlies by the time he left Toronto, and during his time there, he scored 2 points and 77 penalty minutes in 52 NHL games with the Leafs.
