Robbie Earl
Robbie Earl is an American left winger in the Minnesota Wild’s organization.
Earl was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2004, after scoring 27 points in his freshman year at the University of Wisconsin. He scored 50 points in his junior year, and opted to forego his senior year and try and make it in the pros. However, he’s been unable to translate hsi offensive success from the college level to the AHL or NHL with any consistency, and played just 9 games with the Maple Leafs during a single call up in 2008. He was traded to Minnesota the next season, and got his first chance at extended NHL action with the Wild. He scored 6 goals in 32 games with the Wild in 2009-10, and will attempt to make the roster for the 2010-11 season.
