Tyler Seguin is a Canadian center on the Boston Bruins.
Seguin was drafted by the Bruins with the 2nd overall pick in 2010, as Boston used the pick they acquired from Toronto in the trade for Phil Kessel. Seguin was regarded as a candidate for the first overall pick with fellow prospect Taylor Hall, but the Edmonton Oilers chose Hall over Seguin. He earned that attention with two impressive OHL seasons before the age of 18, posting 67 points in ‘08-09 and a remarkable 106 points in ‘09-10. He’ll be expected to make the Bruins’ roster immediately and contribute.
