Miroslav Satan is a Slovak winger on the Boston Bruins.

Satan was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 1993 after playing in both the Czech and Slovak leagues. He played two years with the Oilers after joining them in 1995, and scored 63 points with the club. He then spent the next 8 NHL seasons with the Buffalo Sabres, where he made a name for himself as a legitimate NHL score. He scored 40 goals in 1998-99, and 75 points in 2002-03. He returned to Slovakia in 2004, and remained there through 2005. He came back to the NHL with the New York Islanders, scoring 66 points in his first year back, but has watched his production drop steadily since that year. He won his first Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh in 2009, but was without a team to start the 2009-10 season. He signed with Boston midway through the year, and scored 14 points in 38 games. He came up big for the Bruins in the playoffs with some key goals, and remains with the club for 2010-11.

Satan played for Slovakia at the ‘94 and 2010 Winter Olympics, a number of World Championships and the ‘96 and ‘04 World Cups.
