Jason Krog is a Canadian center on the Atlanta Thrashers.

Krog was never drafted by an NHL team, but attracted plenty of attention when he finished his collegiate career at the University of New Hampshire by winning the Hobey Baker Award as top player in the NCAA. He signed with the New York Islanders in the spring of 1999, and spent the next few years playing in the AHL. He played a few games with the Islanders but never stuck with the NHL club very long. In 2002, he signed with the Anaheim Ducks and immediately began to play full time in the NHL. He had 25 points in his first full season, and 18 the following year. He stayed in Europe after the lockout, but returned to the AHL in 2006. He saw playing time with the Thrashers and New York Rangers, as well as the Vancouver Canucks, but continues to fail to produce consistently in the NHL.He has posted some stellar numbers in the AHL, including a 112 point season in 2007-08. In 2009, he signed with the Atlanta Thrashers, and spent a year in the AHL. He'll be expected to make the roster for the Thrashers in 2010, especially with Ilya Kovalchuk no longer there.
