Tomas Kana

Tomas Kana is a Czech center on the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Kana was drafted in 2006 by the St. Louis Blues after scoring 14 points in the Czech Extraliga. He spent another season in the Czech Republic before coming to North America in 2008. He had 20 points and 65 penalty minutes in his first season with the Alaska Aces in the ECHL. After scoring 15 goals and 28 points in the AHL during the 2009-10 season, he was called up to the Blue Jackets in 2010, where he had been traded by then.

Kana played for the Czech Republic at the 2006 and 2007 World Juniors.
