Matthew Corrente

Matthew Corrente is a Canadian defenseman on the New Jersey Devils.

Corrente was drafted by the Devils in 2006, after he scored 30 points and 172 penalty minutes in the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit. He played two more years in the OHL, and joined the Lowell Devils in 2008. He had 18 points and 181 penalty minutes in his first season in the AHL, and was called up to New Jersey in 2009 for 12 games.
